Whatever holiday you celebrate or don’t, have a good one. Spend it with people you actually like who like you back. Life’s too short to be avoidably miserable.
From my household of Pagans, Atheists and Agnostics, to your household of whatever you may believe.
We do Yule and Giftmas. Mostly we order a bunch of shit from Amazon, leave it in the boxes, and on Christmas morning shake them and try to guess which box is for which person.
I hate wrapping gifts.
Today shall be spent luxuriating in a day off, eating fancy cheeses and crackers, wearing the fuzzy socks I bought everyone in the house on a whim at JoAnn’s the other day (those big clear Christmas ornaments make amazing witchballs, btw. This close to/after Christmas, they’re practically free).
Have a lovely holiday however you choose to celebrate or not.
*When we combined households we needed a household name. Their previous house was Nerdvana, ours was Nerdhaven. When I suggested Nerdhalla because this would be our forever home after the long fucking battle to get here, we agreed. Then the Martian tried to figure out the most linguistically correct way to say it in Norwegian, or a reasonable facsimile thereof. Because of course he did.
